The “UNIVERSAL CODE OF CONDUCT TO PREVENT AND ADDRESS MALTREATMENT IN SPORT” (UCCMS) is the core document that sets harmonized rules to be adopted by sport organizations that receive funding from the Government of Canada. The CSCS is one of the many organizations that received Federal funding. As a result, the SMSCS is requiring all Consultants and Service Providers to accept the document as is, and becomes in effect for any work conducted through the SMSCS on behalf of CSCS.
As a practitioner, a violation of the UCCMS will be managed in accordance with the appropriate CSCS policies.
